All About... the Jeffersonian Team Versus Pelant on 'Bones'

Tonight, All About TV News is All About...

BONES: Andrew Leeds guest-stars as arch-villain Christopher Pelant in the "The Sense in the Sacrifice" episode of BONES airing Monday, Oct. 7 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. ©2013 Fox Broadcasting Co. Cr: Patrick McElhenney/FOX

We knew it was coming, though part of us is going to be sad to see him go because Andrew Leeds has been absolutely creepily spectacular as Pelant, who has become a worthy nemesis of the Jeffersonian team. But in order for Booth and Brennan to get married--there's wedding planning in next week's episode, and the wedding itself is coming October 21--Pelant must be out of the picture. For good. In the premiere, Booth had resolved to kill him, but will he be the one to do it?

Another question that needs answering--and we assume that will come in "The Sense in the Sacrifice"--is the matter of Agent Flynn's loyalty. There has been something off about him, and that move with the flower could not have been more suspicious. In tonight's episode, Sweets is convinced he's not the person everyone thinks he is, and since it seems like his leave is helping to get him back on track, it might be a smart idea for the others to trust his judgment. They are going to be using Flynn to help set the trap for Pelant, but Pelant is going to be one step ahead, and that could very well be because Flynn has clued him in. However, there is the fact that Flynn is now riding a desk because of the evil hacktivist, so who knows what's up with him? Whatever's going on, his true intentions should be revealed in this episode since it does seem like it's the end of Pelant's arc--unless Flynn is somehow tied to the next big bad for the Jeffersonian team.

And if you want a tease about what's coming up with the next big bad, check out this scoop from Hart Hanson and Stephen Nathan.

How do you think Pelant's storyline will end?
